MediaMatters is looking back at very successful MatchMaking Days on May 22, 23 and 24 in the Media Park in Hilversum. 14 startups and scale-ups from 7 countries presented themselves for the 6 participating media companies. That resulted in a whopping 27 matches, varying from 'hard' matches ('we are going to do business') to soft matches ('we definitely have to talk further').
Under our supervision and of our partner Innomics, startups and media companies are now working on concrete solutions for the media companies. These cases - together with lesson learned - will be presented during an (invite only) 'expert session' during the Media Jaar Congres in Hilversum on June 29.
Visitors also chose the best 6 pitches of startups during the third day of the MatchMaking Days. These startups will get a chance to present their company on the main stage of the Media Jaar Congres for hundreds of media professionals.
