The Dutch public broadcasters call on tech companies to come up with innovative solutions that can be used during the Eurovision Song Contest. The NPO with AVROTROS, NOS and EBU, are looking for solutions that strengthen the online experience of viewers and fans. Companies have until August 19 to submit their ideas.
A short list of 10 companies will be drawn up before 1 September. Those 10 will be invited for an event in September. There, a maximum of 3 companies will eventually be selected that can also implement their solution. NPO and AVROTROS offer each of those companies co-funding for development up to € 35.000.
The scouting and first selection for this challenge is in the hands of MediaMatters. The challenge is being deployed worldwide. MediaMatters uses its existing database of startups, scale-ups and other tech companies. But also the international network of MediaMatters will be used.
