MediaMatters is joining a trade mission that is travelling to Bavaria, February 10-14. With its knowledge intensive industries, capacity for innovation and strong R&D base, Bavaria is the innovative motor of the Germany’s economy. The mission is a joint initiative of Amsterdam/Utrecht region to explore trends in the fields of urban mobility, e-health, digital media and startups.
Rick van Dijk, program manager at MediaMatters, will be the leader of the digital media track. The following media startups and scale-ups are participating in this track: MatchHamster, StreamOne, InBeacon, VideoDock, Graphlr, Eumedianet, WarpCache and Obi4Wan. Several of these companies have participated in the 2016 MediaMatters program. For these companies it is a great way to get the know the changes in and the challenges of the German media industry. It is also a great opportunity to meet media companies like Suddeutsche Zeitung and ProSieben and see how they can add value to their business.
Our German partner Next Media Accelerator (NMA) is organizing a Media Match making event on March 2 and 3 in Hamburg. Startups and scale-ups that want to meet media companies and investors are invited to apply to this event.
